Well I assume that you checked & tested everything above & it turned out ok. Only other things I can think of would be faulty FPR, Fuel Pump, or cloged fuel filter.

In adition to the mods you plan to do I suggest you service the tranny. Complete flush n fill using a synthitic fluid such as RedLine, Royal Purpal or at least the Mercon 4. Also add a tranny cooler. They arent expensive & are easy to install. Get one rated at 24000+ GVW. Running the 1/4...
