I agree with you 100% There is no reason why we can't expect to have large meets in the mid west. I remember when we had meets in Dayton OH that attracted 40+ Supras. I don't see why we cant get something set up in Central ILL, Indy, or Louisville/Lexington KY. All these areas have shops...
WoW!! this is a shock. I'm sad to hear such awful news. I have been in the Supra community for almost 7yrs & have followed & marveled at Mike's accomplishments over the years. It angers me that such a young & talented tuner was taking away from his family & friends by such a wreck less act...
I have been hearing intermitten squeal & chatter noise from my rear wheel. Jacked up the car & wiggled the tire back & forth. I found just over a 1/4" of play. Concluded the wheel bearing was bad so I replaced my rear PS Rear Wheel Bearing. Now I still have a noise but now it sounds more like...
Thanks for sharing.. The pics turned out great. A cpl ?'s. whats causing the discoloration in the water in a few shots? Whats in the large pits with bags around it? So are they rotating units in & out untill the project is done are did yours go in to do a spacific job? Looks like you guys...
So your not feeling the pull that you remember. Could be a # of things. If it has had the same gas in it for several months it could be old dead octain fuel. Fuel treatment, Toulene etc along with fresh high oct gas should do the trick. Also Check the timing see if its atleast 10 deg. May...
I have 19 people down for the BBQ. Of those 19 I'm waiting on Money Orders from 3. So if those 3 don't back out & we get 1 more then we will be set.
As of now I have 13 spots reserved for dyno pulls. So 13 people on the dyno & another 19 watching.
Steve
Oh the meet will happen with or w/o there money. Just won't be a BBQ & that will be a shame. For everything that comes with it for $11.49 can't be beat. If we don't get the 20 then we will just have a cookout & split up the cost for everything that day. Just got the stuff Curt Aigner at...
I would double check your hard pipe couplers. Make sure they are on snug & clamps are tight. 1st ones to check would be at the throtal body to 3Kpipe & at the turbo to IC. Replace any that has any small rips or tears. Even if they are small under boost they will expand & cause a leak.
We have been getting a good response regarding the BBQ but we are still not at the 20 people. Due to my error I need the BBQ $ in no later then Fri. 5/27. I forgot that it takes 3-4 days to xfer the $ from paypal acct to a bank acct. So please if you are going to attend the BBQ & will pay via...
Thanks guys. I'll use the Ball Joint fork. I seen them used on other cars but wasn't sure it would work on the MK3 because the TSRM SST Looked more like a small gear puller. Another question, the new LBJ's have a hole for a greese fitting but the stock (Toyota) dosen't. Is it ok to install...
From looking at the TSRM it looks straight forward. Only concern I have is that it calls for an SST to remove the BallJoint from the steering knuckle. What have you used if not the SST or is that the only way? Any other tips are greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Steve
None the less sounds like you had fun.
I'm sure he is talking about replacing only the rear so the car will squat & track better. With stock set up & TEMS you can set to full soft & unplug the rear connectors & then set to full firm. Are you running any other rear suspension upgrades other...
