Yes sir it was machined with the block. I also noticed something else this weekend when I was going to start assembling the front end. Go back to post #49. See in the pic the hole, above the crankshaft in the center. That is suppose to have a plug in it and it doesnt. My machinist forgot...
well Im certain the original pump I took off is original, no only cause it looks it, but it even has Aisins name on the impellar. Magnets stick to all three of them. The original pump is from a JDM motor as well. The only thing i saw that I liked about the new one from Orielly's is that it...
Yeah Mike has alot of cars. I think he has gotten rid of some since I was last there. And im only an hour away. Its very helpful when I need something and he has it.

Thanks hooked. And your right. That is why I go through all the trouble I do, cause the satisfaction you get in the end is all worth it! Its funny cause I was looking at some b4 pics I took of the motor after I pulled it, trying to figure out how some of these things go back together, and it...
I degreased all the part first with simple green and a little elbow grease. But the wire wheels and cup took all the haze and contaminated look away. With no cleaner. I am very happy with the results. Plus its something you can do yourself and not rely on someone with high dollar equipment...
