    2JZ NA-T in my 87T

The .96 a/r seems a bit large IMO. Folks are making plenty of power in excess of 600RWHP on the top end with even a .81. Of course the megasquirt will be better to tune being a full standalone. If you're setting up a complete wiring job, investing that time into a standalone the first time...

    na-t question

You can use the stock Turbo FPR. Sounds like you're going to be using a stock CT-26, and the stock FPR will work just fine, and it's a whole lot cheaper.

    na-t question

I've used that FPR before. It's adjustable from 1:1 to 3:1. I did not like it with stock ECU/piggybacks. If you have a standalone, or another way to better control your injectors, it's a nice FPR.

so whats the deal witht he 500-mile retorque

No, I am just smarter than you. I just don't have my head up my fourth point of contact. No, I read it all, and will you STOP reffering to torque proceedures for ROD bolts... for the last time, we are talking about HEAD hardware here. Actually, ARP recommends it for the ROD bolts, and...

    Crankshaft Pulley Bolt

I thought it was just Honda's that went counterclockwise. And Grim, this isn't my method, I learned it from you, or some other old knowledgable guy ;)

    Calculating 2jzgeT compression ratio

Well at least you know what YOUR compression ratio is going to be!!! lol Nice work.

so whats the deal witht he 500-mile retorque

I asked for evidence, not recommendations. I read yours, now read mine :) So we all agree that retorquing isn't always necessary if you use heat cycled hardware on a MLS gasket. That I understand now. Thanks. It was kinda MY POINT ;), EXCEPT for the whole new/heat cycled part, which I'm...

so whats the deal witht he 500-mile retorque

I don't know about all that stretching. If that were the case, the stretching would never stop, and it ONLY occurs if you surpass the bolt's yeild strength. Most shops recommend never to reuse headbolts/studs more than twice. So using logic posted previously....**** If you torque to...

    Calculating 2jzgeT compression ratio

have you tried calculations without using the area around the rings?

    comp ratio?

Just get a thinner headgasket. You do the calculations, then call someone. Cometic will make any size you want. Call Eric at HPF.

    Calculating 2jzgeT compression ratio

Interesting calculations. Others have suspected this, but no one has posted numbers. Boostlogic sells their standard 3mm headgasket for the 2JZ-GE to change the comp. ratio to around 8.5:1, so claimed. Shoot them an e-mail, maybe they made a mistake???? Have you tried using another CR...

    1jz or 2jz????

maybe in a month or two... we haven't had time to do anything due to the holidays, and I just put my dad in the hospital... I have no time for anything anymore, but it should get better in January.

    1jz or 2jz????

Picture this *hypothetical* situation ;) You bought a 1JZ originally, or your 1JZ block was damaged. You bought an ULTRA rare and unique turbo kit for the 1JZ. Then, you think "I've never seen this turbo kit on a 3.0l block." I know this kit on a 1JZ made 524rwhp at like, 24PSI, and OrinB...

Why I ditched my 7MGTE and went 2JZ NAT with AEM

I paid $300 for my 2J-GE, and then $300 for shipping from Chicago to Alabama. If he had been local... Someone in Chicago could have picked it up from him for $300.

Why I ditched my 7MGTE and went 2JZ NAT with AEM

10's is easy on the internet calculators. Mibrum IS putting down 1350 on a 7M. You said he was still climbing? Maybe we haven't seen the full potential yet. That's just ONE engine, ONE time. AND STILL IMPRESSIVE! Many more 2JZ cars are making more than 1350RWHP, consistently. That...
