ok guys, i ended up having to bypass the main relay, but i now have power down to the connector for the stinger, but i still cannot connect to the ecu. i turned my laptop off twice and restarted the software a few times to see if that would fix it, but nothing when i turn on the software, it...

well, im getting no power into the stinger, checked all the way up to the c1 connector and theres nothing at all. you guys have any ideas on it? im tempted to swap out all the wiring on the front end of my car, ive been meaning to anyways, but never got around to it, i had this problem a few...

JW guys, could i test to see about the power to the ecu with a test light? cuz i do have one of those available in the garage and off hand do yall know which of the 24 pins are the ones to test? or do i need to go back and check on the actual engine harness?

are you running the BOV on its own vacuum source, or is it t'd off another line i had bad surge on my racing type II till i gave it its own source

well i loaded the software up on my spare laptop, and it still gave me the same location for every-time tomorrow im just gonna get the right serial cable after work. im just hoping im not having the same prob that i was a couple months ago with power to the ecu

ya the key is turned 2 clicks and everything that normally has power is on. and all ive got in that corner right now is a black box and to the left of that is NO COM-PORT FOUND (<----literally) but its not giving me a choice of the location that the adapter is saying its on i wish i knew more...
