did you undo the pressure plate from the flywheel? ive taken the trans off without undoing that once, but realized there was no chance of putting it back on with the clutch assembly still on there

i agree with IJ, even with that, the stock ecu will still cut the motor off at the same spot

doubtful youll find any place that makes a PnP harness for the Map ECU to work on a 1J. you might wanna try hitting up Dr Tweak (other vendors section) and see what he could do for you. thats about all i can think of right now

im friends with alot of the supra owners in dfw, unfortunately the only group pic we took, the MKIVs were the only ones really running at the time glad to say, at our more recent get together, there were twice as many MKIIIs as MKIVs there mine not included, its still brokeded
