ps there is one con about this, you may have to add oil about every 1/4 mile or sooner ..........
this can be fixed with proper resizeing but it looks like was not done or done baldy
if it was from lack of il flow it would have happend pretty quick and wipe the baring all the way around

I had such an issue timing the bloody car
so I measher the head it was plained to much
so my timing was eather 8 and lower or 13 plus
my fix was to shave the cps bracket to get to 12/13
i don't know what was with this block and head combo but...
well ya could but well not worth it at all and just end up with big ass shims if it was reground
might as well keep them in the truck of your car and use them as a beating stick, a nice ugly beating stick
if you don't like it do what I did and put a step in you fly wheel problem sloved
I find the step in the fly wheel has a better pedal engagment zone very close to stock too with some after market clutches that are thinnner

if you got the tire I would drop in a 4:11 then you will be in 5th across the line and have big mile an hour and possible better times
ps most aftermarket gears are shit compared to the stock toyota gear's
ture track can cause darting off the line I find..... since one tire can spin...

Most stock supra's I see hit 210 to 220 in the summer at peek temp
upgrade cooling system are in the 180 to 190 zone in the summer at peek temp
these are all using auto meter gauges
