Well, I guess I didn't find it personally. My friend pulled it off a car at pick n pull a while back and couldn't use it, so he gave it to me. It threads, so it's getting used. It's a very comfortable knob. :)

MKIV 550cc injectors installed.
Oil feed and return lines installed at last!
Rear turbo oil feed plugged. It's a high-grade bolt and a compression washer. I imagine that it should seal as well as the factory banjo bolt.
My lovely R154. I need a short shifter! lol
Now I go back to...
Thanks for the comments, guys!
All the 7M buildup threads make me wish I had stayed 7M. I might have spent the same amount of time and money in the end since my power goals would still be the same, but it might have been running by now too. lol I think it's all about making a plan and...
Finally cracking the hood open again after letting it sit far too long!
Hood's unbolted, and the engine is ready to be lifted out, but I'm still waiting for my help to show up.
The engine's out and the auto trans has been removed.
Goodbye automatic transmission!
Upper manifold and...
I just discovered this thread for the first time, and I can't believe my eyes. This is amazing work! How much power are you aiming for? I'm very excited to see the effect of ITB's. :)

EXACTLY why I went 2JZ in my MKIII! I want the more advanced engine design, but I'm more in love with the MKIII than the MKIV.
I read the rest of your thread too, and I hope you get a chance to finish this someday!

It's been nearly a month since I touched the car last due to weather, construction work in my driveway (building another 2 car garage/workshop :D), waiting for parts, and other setbacks, but I just got off the phone with Champion Toyota, and the last parts needed to get my car running will be...
1JZ or 2JZ FTW. I don't understand how this is a debate? lol Skylines are overrated, and the only reason that people get so excited about them on this side of the pond is that they are rare. I'd take my 2JZ MKIII over ANY Skyline any day! :D
Drift Motion sells them. I got mine from Champion Toyota. I paid 300 for my R154 and 300 for my bellhousing. You have to pay before you can play, bud. This is an expensive hobby, especially when you start playing with JZ swaps. I would have never made it to where I am now if I was afraid to...
They look like the leatherette racing seats we sell at Kragen (Checker, Shucks). They are incredible for the price, but they're not a Recaro. :)

= FTW!
Sorry. I had to. :p
It seems like there are a lot of Skylines running twin T3 and T3/T4 turbos and making a lot of power with little lag. Why not a JZ done the same way? I think it sounds like a good idea if you have a fabricator who is up to it or you can make your own manifold and...
