I made 440rwhp @ only 11PSI with my GT40R/1.06 housing. I was roughly at 19 degrees timing, 93 octane.
The 1.06 really does fit that turbo perfect on a 3L motor. I looked into this turbo after hearing what Geoff at FullRace had to say about it for the 2J. He has already tried the smaller...
They were mounted five inches apart from one another, angled at 0, 45, and 90 degree intervals, right off the intercooler outlet. I am very satisfied. Thank you for all of the help.
The car can be maintained if you remove the crank pulley. Other than that major destructive issue for the motor, there doesn't seem to be any other issues from SM.
Sea foam just got popular around my area about two weeks ago. It's crazy how I see in on SM now. I wonder which forum started it.....
I know it's not new, but someone did it, then their friend did it, now it's spreading again.
When did the problem start?
Has the car worked fine previously with the mods?
Does it happen during free rev or driving?
How do you know it's lean? Wideband?
Make sure the vacuum hose going to the stinger is hooked up.
A code is not going to show up with a Stinger EMS. Unless you put a stock ECU in, but then you'd need to use a JZ MAP sensor, but not with the 550's you have unless..... whatever....
There are just way too many things it could be.
A factory 1JZ flywheel is what I am using. The light weight units will cause the clutch to shake more from take offs also. I do not believe anyone has fused one road racing, but drag launches are better suited for heavier flywheels when using a single PP + six puck setup.
I am on the ACT Extreme with feramic six puck spung hub. It will shake when the motor and transmission are cold, or very hot on my car. Normal temps seem to be fine.
As far as I can tell from your post it sounds normal. I would be careful with that fidanza flywheel. I have read that it will...
So this means my flywheel bolts are backing out. Great.
I have the same problem as you are. Trans comes off this week then.
I just bled it, keeps doing it. Nothing is leaking. No air anywhere. Fantastic.
