the pre89 has a 4 inch gap between the fender with a 225/50/16
so i thought it would be a simple way to close up the gap without cutting my springs or getting shocks and springs.
i will be getting billstiens with springs when i can afford them,which is not now.
i have a set of veilside racing andrew v's
the front set are 17/9 with a +22 offset
the rear set are 17/10 with a +35 offset
i was thinking a 255/40/17 for the front and 275/50/17 in the rear
is that a good idea?
what are your recomendations for sizes?

whats a better method for t'ing my hard line for my boost gauge?
i was driving my car hard today and fuel cut is like 90% gone for some wierd reason.and my vacume reading was at 21 STEADY. maybe santa did it..lol
ok so when you say boost sensor port you mean the location of where the lines from the gauge connect to the motor,right?
i have it tee'd right at the tip of the intake manifold. Its like 2 inches away from where the master brake cylinder hose connects to the intake manifold
ok.let me ask a simple question what is a boost sensor/port.
because when you say boost sensor all i can think of is the boost gauge sensor and the boost gauge its self. could you tell me where it is so i can take a look.thanks

i used the ecu temp sensor location because it was a perfect fit for the nut that came with the autometer gauge. is there anything else you need answered?

everythings on and my waste gate has 2 shims on it.
and the sensor that i used is the ecu coolant sensor. not the oem gauge sensor.
im gona do a boost leak check when ever i get a chance.

i have tightened all my intercooler piping(resulting in a better idle)
my boost gauge sits at 19 when i start the car and once the engine warms up it sits at 22 at idle and only moves a hair.
at full boost the boost gauge reads 10 psi
