    recommended load index for tires?

Consider that the car weighs nearly 2 tons (over that with passengers), so I'd try to get some tires with at least 1200 lb ratings. Pretty much anything in a stock size or larger should cover you there though.

Crazy how fast your life can flash in front of your eyes..

When that day comes, like a dog past it's healthy and happy days, take me out back and put a bullet between my eyes. Oh, I'll likely never sell the car, but rather keep it until some bullshit like this happens to it. Then I'll probably cry. :( You'd still have yours wouldn't you? At the rate...

Bosch 044 Intank Install (Help Needed if possible)

How are you liking them so far? Any idea what you think they would support, power wise? I figure if injectors are xxxCC each, that's per minute, correct? Multiply that by 360 (6 injectors by 60 minutes), divide by 1000 (to get your LPH requirement), and size the pump accordingly?

What did you do to your supra today? Pics

Realized that your local Caterpillar dealer is a good source of turbo gaskets, clamps, etc... although I think there might be a bit of fishing for part numbers involved. :p Also, the manifold was at a neighbor's house...

    rear subframe update

Most certainly does. There are a handful of people on this forum currently that I have a ton of respect for the quality of their work. #04 is one of them, you don't see a chassis that clean very often... Haha, my girlfriend has one of those. I was never a fan of them either, so I bought a phone...

    Is this a deal?

Iruyle, if you are planning on a parts car, I'd suggest something a little further gone. That car does appear to be in decent shape. $1200 is about right in my eyes, assuming the car is still rust-free. Even at $1800, if the thing is in good shape aside from normal wear/tear, then you're getting...

"I Want To Organize A Meet in 2013" Thread - CLICK HERE

Jeff, depends on how far east it is held. I'd love to attend another large Supra meet (as is, there are less than a dozen Supras in my area, and between my buddy and myself, we own about half of those...), but driving distance is definitely a consideration. Vegas wasn't that bad for me, at ~600...

    Tylers Conlins's Drag Supra

Way to go Tyler! That Mopar didn't stand a chance... Now I realize that picking up time when you're running this fast is difficult, but do you guys think there's a 9 second pass in this setup? Is there more power to be had, better conditions, etc..?

    MK3 Supra vs Dodge SRT4

Thumbs up for the decent footage (for a change ;) ), thumbs down for playing in traffic, a street with intersections, etc... you guys HAVE a track down there. Use it, please. What do the cops say about the camera hanging off the side? :p

Supra MK3 WINS KING OF EUROPE ,Round 6

LD, I'm guessing the cage design is meant to triangulate above the driver, to prevent the roof from collapsing much in a roll over? My cage is a Cusco, and it's cross bar is like the one in the second picture there.

    Metal Heads Unite!

I mentioned them a couple times. I bought their greatest hits album as a JOKE, thinking they were going to be a cheesy 80's band. Oh how gloriously wrong I was... Same here my friend, same here... it's almost as bad as all the punk bands over the years that were just genuinely terrible...

    New Initial D: Stage 5

Engine swaps in an old Z are the easy part. Like I said, if you can find one without rust (or have the skills to deal with rust) for a decent price... and have the means, snag it. They're really fun cars. :)

Look what we just got! A Z10 Soarer!

That was pretty badass, I must admit. In all my years, never seen one of those, although the "skyliner" name is familiar. Probably not very common, or were hoarded by those that owned them.

    Supra Sucessor Confirmed! Read here:

No offense man, but the average MkIII owner can't afford a MkIII. :p While you're at it, you should check the price of a 97/98 MkIV in current dollars. They were nearly $59k back in 1997. ;) Two things... I can appreciate the R35 for its physics-defying (by most sensible understandings of...

Surely he does, but if he were to share them with us, our eyes would melt from how awesome this swap is going to be. :p

clean swap wiring and engine bay ideas?

Pretty much. Either use an existing hole (I believe we stuffed mine in the speedometer cable hole), or get a hole saw and make your own. As for the existing harness hole on the passenger side, you can either weld in a new piece of metal and make it look really good, or use some Hondabond and one...

Engine swap for the better or worse?

Eh, I can see where he's thinking that. First, a little information: 5m - Was found in the MA61 (Mk2 Supra), it displaces 2.8L. Two valve per cylinder head design 7m - Was found in the MA70 (Mk3 Supra), it displaces 3.0L. Four valve per cylinder head design. Now, the reason the 7m...

Crazy how fast your life can flash in front of your eyes..

I would disagree on this. You might not be able to get out of the building cars game, but you can get out of the Supra game. For what it's worth, the 87 I'm building will most likely be my last Supra that I buy. Gotta have a little variety in the garage man...

    Recommended Tires

^These are the Hankook RS3's you speak of? Hmm... may have to look into them, that's some awfully high praise there. :) As for not competing making sticky rubber not as useful, there are people like me, who only have about 6 months a year where it is warm enough outside to use such rubber on...
