You can still make more power by ditching the stock ecu. imo a standalone is the all around best upgrade you can do.
I have a few 1jz maps and once you have know what its going to be wired for i can make a base map to get you started. Need to know sequential or batch. seq is better for both...
doesnt matter about the tune. If someone sends you a tune file and your car is wired differently then its not going to work.

Another trick you could do for the pinnion bearing is if you are careful and good with a cut off wheel is like when cutting the inner race off a hub like when doing wheel bearings.
Remove the casing and roller bearings to get to the inner race. then use a cut off wheel and cut a slit going in...

2jzge engines can be found at any junkyard for cheap.
For buying a 2jzgte from a importer just don't but from tiger Japanese. Also can look on Craigslist as it's better to look in person.
You cut the bolts out. Replace the bushing and bolts and install.
Or cut the bolts out and replace the arms and bolts. Beech and battle version both have arms.
It's more common in the front then the rear tho.
