Sounds like you know what to look for already. One thing that hasn't been mentioned is rust. I'm not sure where you are at in the country so that may be more or less of a problem for you.

I wouldn't really worry about a "newer" supra. At this point the youngest MK3 is almost 22 years old. They are all old cars now. The two tone brown is a fairly rare color that you don't see much of. The car looks pretty clean in the pictures. I would definitely give it a very good inspection...
