Hey, I got to try it out today and it did not solve the issue with the high beam indicator. I'm not to worried about this since its really easy to tell when the high beams are on with the projectors.
Now I just need to rewire the fog lights. I want to do it, but am a little hesitant because...
Replaced my ballasts this morning. So far so good, I hope these ones work after my last two were part of a recall. Right now I'm mounting my 6.5" JBL's into my KevinM speaker pods.
Very much so.
You can do that as well. Towards the end I ended up taking some long socks and cutting the feet off of them and using them as sleeves to keep my arms from getting scratched any worse.
It should not actually pull power from the headlight plug. It should have a separate power...
You have the bumper off so that makes it a lot easier to take pictures. I didn't take that off, instead I just got my arms through the hole where the headlight would normally be. Had I taken off the bumper then I probably would have taken pictures too. My arms also would not have looked like I...
CEL is check engine light.
The lines can be found near the back of the motor going into the firewall.

The hot restart issue may be the Fuel Pressure Up VSV that is under the intake manifold like Indigo said. It could also be the check valve in the fuel pump and it is not holding pressure when the car is hot. (At least that is the way I understand it). I believe this is my problem because I have...
Mount it wherever it fits. Different ballasts and bulbs will have different lengths of cable and that will dictate where you can mount yours. I mounted mine to the back of the metal crash bumper using industrial strength Velcro and a large zip tie for extra security. There are many ways to mount it.
Cool. All the other parts stores in the area told me they didn't have any that big and NAPA didn't think they did either until they started digging around in the back.
I believe it is a 3/8" one for the return line to the reservoir. Make sure you put the filter in the right direction as well. The suction line is 5/8" and was hard for me to find, NAPA was the only one who had it and it was kinda pricey for a hose.
Sorry about the late reply and thanks for the link. I think they changed the color of the wires in 89 and my car is an 87 so I assume I could just cross reference the wire colors correct? They are still wired in the same fashion I would assume, just with different colors?
I just use regular Valvoline synthetic brake fluid for my clutch and brake. Its DOT4 I believe and is sold at autozone, etc.
For power steering I use Mobil 1 synthetic ATF and added a Magnefine filter in the return line to the reservoir.
I have not yet but I plan to very soon. I will update this with the results when I try it.
Alright, that makes sense. Thanks for the responses guys, I would have followed that link had I not known. What is the preferred way to rewire the foglights?
Well when I was having problems with my heater and doing research I think I remember problems like yours being caused by that sensor that is on the passenger side of the dash. That little black thing that comes out of defrost vent over there. I can't say that it is your problem but it is...
Here is an old thread on the Lotus suspension in our cars.

Alright, I think I will just go with some regular speakers for now. I'm sure it will sound better that the 4" ones up front that I currently have.
Does anybody know if most 6.5" speakers fit into these depth wise without having to modify the door or door panel? Or do they need to be the...
This is the guide that I was going to use for rewiring the fog lights since my car is an 87. http://www.supras.com/06/techcenter/display.php?QID=41
I didn't realize the parking lights have to be on for the fog lights to work after doing this so it would make sense that they shut off when the...
