stock oil cooler uses 3/8th hose not 1/2. and if your using the factory hard lines as well then you need like less than 6ft. Napa should have some good hose for a good price without having to wait.
Should only be seeing voltage to the tps in the on position.
And you should not be seeing more than 5 to the tps. And the idl wire should only show voltage with the tps plugged in.
Who ever did your harness cross a wire or used the wrong wire.
There should be 4 wires for the tps. vc vcc idl and e2.
vc 5 volts
e2 ground
vcc should vary depending and how far the throttle is open. 0-5v
idl should olny show a signal when the thottle is closed like when ideling. should not be 12v either. So if you have 12v your wiring is wrong.
That doesnt seem too bad. Tho you shouldnt really need new shims just need to re shim unlss he doesnt have shims and has to get new for the correct size.
But if your going to do all that you might want to look into porting it some as well.
It's a good little unit and has made its way into just about everything including all kinds of racing.
Has all the standard features that all standalone a have and then all the features for what ever fuel setup you want. Has all the launch and 2/3step control. Nitrous injection. Multiple...
IMO ms3 is more capable and more current. Aem has basically given up on the v2 and focused on the infinity.
Besides with a 7m your always better off with a new harness.
I would skip it. Even the rx7 guys do not run them. They are terribly unreliable and are very old tired and used.
You can get a earls block adapter with a built in t stat for pretty cheap brand new.
Or if you want the good stuff get a mocal t stat.
If it's negitive it goes to the block. But that doesn't look like a negitive.
The second pic there is supposed to be a bracket that goes from mount to intake manifold.
