On the US car the spare doesn't even fit within the rear pan. That's why we have the wooden cover over it which makes the rear carpet lay flat. Some non-US supras don't have this wooden cover, and instead have a molded carpet which has a bump to fit over the spare.
I have my dash off right now, as I was trying to figure out the routing. There are only two spots that could possibly work. One is run behind the radio as others have said, the other is above the heater core in between the defrost vent and the front dash vent. The second spot is almost...
Two of the dash plugs are the same dimensions. That's about it. All the ecu plugs are different from a 7m ecu and the third dash plug is totally different. However, if you are looking for plugs like the 1j ecu plugs I believe there are a few cars out there that have them.

My current supra: $4000+
If I go back and add in all the ones before that then it's something like $15k.
Yeah I could have used the money for something else, but it always seemed like it was worth it and it still does.
He's actually not lying, rhode island doesn't title vehicles older than 10 years. He couldn't give you a title if he wanted to. All you should need is the bill of sale and proof the car was registered in rhode island.
Most I've ever had was 3 at one time. I think that if we're just talking mk3's 2 is enough for any one time. Now if I had one of every generation on the other hand...
Take the motor to Northeast auto machine in wethersfield. They work on a bunch of 7m's. I wouldn't trust the 7m to just any shop. They'll also cost you less than 2k. I had my whole engine rebuilt mhg, arp hardware and all from top to bottom for $1600.
If you need a hoist to take it out or a...
I dunno about on the 1G, i assume it's the same as over here in the US. One box in the engine bay, one in the drivers side kickpanel, and there's a couple of fuses in the passenger side kickpanel.
The method I outlined in my post is how I did it, and it took alot less splicing because I simply pulled all the connectors out together. I'm just putting it up because I didn't see any other pictures out there.
I just wanted to post this up since there are no pictures of the 'easy' way to wire the JZ fusebox wiring to the MA70. Credit the Hams for the idea and all the others that have done it already.
Below I have dissasembled the fuse box and taken off the wiring wrap:
Here I have seperated...
If you look at the top of the shock in the center of the mount, where the upper bolt goes, there will be a hole with a small rectangular rod in it. That's the dampener adjustment rod for the tems shocks. If there is no hole and it's just a normal bolt then they are non-tems.
Usually used to get about 320 miles to empty on the gauge which was about 20mpg on my supra. Mixed city and highway driving. Best I ever got was about 400 miles to the empty mark, or 25mpg all highway.
I took a pic from a different angle so it's more obvious. You can see the 7M mount tapers more and then has a bit of a 'neck' before reaching the bolt. The 1JZ mount isn't as thin and is slightly shorter.
Nah, it was actually in really good shape before I broke by prying on it to get the engine in place. The 7m mount is definitely more used. If you look at the two mounts they are just different in design.
I found out today that the 1JZ and 7M engine mount(the rubber portion) are different sizes. The 1JZ mount is about 1/4" shorter than the 7M part.
Below is a picture of my busted 1JZ mount and the 7M replacement I was going to use:
Also, is there any issue with using one 7M mount and...
