It was driven a bit over two hours each way and the runs were on DOT approved street tires. I've got to work on my launches, but it's the first time I've been to the track and raced this year. Unfortunately I may not get to go again until next spring. Hopefully I'll have the car running a...
Mickey Thompson ET streets. I drove down there and back on them. That's the only tires I run on the back. I keep them on there full time. Until I find another street tire that will hold, that's what I'll keep running.
It's not that fast for six hundred horsepower either, but for right now...
Thanks guys.
Rich, unfortunately I have an adictive personality..........that's the only reason I don't try many new drugs.............lol
Mark.......I'm used to my weaksauce. It's yours that I miss. Maybe you should go overseas again and leave it at the house so I can test drive it some...
We had an import face off and I got to make four runs.
11.621 @ 120.35 spinning in third and fourth so I basically coasted across the line. This was the first run and the first sixty foot was hooking but the rest of the track wasn't. Once I lowered my tire pressure down I was good to go...

Congrats on the numbers.
I made four passes today. The one with the quickest time also had my worst sixty foot.

I have two things to add to this........
First: Go with a little higher compression like Mark did. I drove his car for a few days and I also drove mine around and my compression is 8.6 / 1 by my calculations. His car is way stronger than mine out of boost and is a blast to drive. I used...
Scott, if you'd like, I could ban Dave...........it would be my pleasure actually. Everytime I see that sig of his, I want to punch something!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I will tell you the distance between the caliper and the back of the spoke is about the width of a playing card.........it's tight. I'll see if I can get a picture for you though.
Sorry to hear abuot the problems Scott. It sounds like you need to buy another supra..........that way you're ALWAYS expecting something to be messed up with at least one of them.
In all fairness to supras everywhere, I finally have two perfectly running cars and I know I just jinxed...
