This may or may not help. I ended up wrapping a piece of wire around mine to keep it open during the winter. I'm not saying that this is the right way to do it, I said it's how I did it.
Left foot on the brake pressing really hard, right foot on the gas trying to build boost. With my wife's car, I put it in 1 and manually shifted it. The times weren't that different than letting it shift on it's on though.
There won't be any bitching and whining going on in here. Everyone is entitled to their opinion without being called a liar or a nut swinger. Keep it civil or I will hunt you down and kill you in your sleep. It's your choice.
I personally don't believe that mustang makes 400rwhp. I'm not...
Mine was going to be the same color as Mike Urbano's, but it was tooo purple for me. I then added some of my original color to it, plus a pint of silver. It's now a dark purple.

When my 1991 white package was stock, I used to race cobras and stay neck and...

.028 should not make it idle that bad and it should help with the miss under wot. I don't think the 6 heat range on the ones you installed are made for our car. Try the ngk4644's and see if it helps you.
If it was the turbo seals......it would be smoking due to burning oil, but it would still build boost.
As for the boost leak test. I bought a 4" to 3" (my turbo opening is 4") rubber coupling from Home Depot. I also bought a 3" pvc plug. I drilled a hole in it and pulled a valve stem through...
