That EFR is too small and will choke the motor. You're better off using the stock twins on stock boost with your hp goals.

Absolutely. I have been the hugest proponent of VVT-i and how helpful it is. More difficult to tune but worth every penny. It's funny how everyone here in the USA uses regular 2JZ's but you ask a person from Japan or Australia what they think of us not using vvti and they think were stupid...
They are... people just replace them because of the quench area and compression. Can it be done? Sure... but it's not ideal for a proper combustion and detonation characteristics.
