I have been told a lean idle is normal, as there is no risk to running lean at idle as the engine is under no load. Can someone clarify which it is?

So far, I have had no issues with the kit I got from Flatlander. You can get it here, and $429 isn't a bad price. However, knowing what I know now, I would probably have gone with more robust parts, as my plans are no longer to be stock. But at a stock level this kit has done just fine for me...
No. Just no. Maybe you can get the motor for that cost. That doesn't include, rebuild, gaskets, misc. repairs, harness, labor, tools, or anything else you will need.

Probably not even close. If you have ever done wiring work, you would understand why its so expensive. Dr. tweak will build a new harness for 1k, that's really all I know of. He might do what you're asking, but i can't speak for him, and I can't imagine it being much cheaper. Here is a link to...
As my car is and most likely will always be a street car, I woudn't use one of these. However, if I was running at the track every weekend, I would definitely consider this.
