NEVER use a fuel cut defender. The way it works isby reducing the airflow signal which makes the ECM take longer to hit fuel cut. This means that the ECM gets a signal for a certin amount of air and delivers fuel based on that. In fact, you are pulling in much more air, but because the FCD is...
The thing to keep in mind here is, you have a single piece driveshaft. You can take any stock specs on that and wave bye bye. Even if you are at stock specks, chances are you have changed what the spec should be by modifying the car. I'm with the other guys on this, I would check to make sure...
No, the AFM is still used at WOT. WOT is pretty much the majority of the tuning you want to do with an SAFC (Or any piggyback for that matter). Tuning anything in closed loop is a waste of time.

I've looked at it, never had the misfortune of actually working on one, lol. I had a friend in my auto class with one, and he was always having problems with his, and they did not design that car with the mechanic in mind.

My thoughts: I would never use a 7M that had never been rebuilt. I don't care how "low milage" it is, or what the owner says, I am at the very least machining the head, replacing the head gasket, and maybe even replace bearings.

I'm running a Godspeed radiator, and I am happy with it so far, but I have only had it on for about a year or so, and I don't drive my car hard. As far as the firment goes, there is a hole in the lower tank for a sensor that will need to be plugged, but it is otherwise an excellent fit.

If it wasn't for the camber, I would be fine with it. But running that much camber reduces traction a lot. This means poor handling, acceleration, and braking. This is almost asking for an accident, and it puts the driver and others around him at risk. I have no problem with form over function...
Not going with an MHG because of that. Just an OEM, but going to machine the head. I wish I had done a MHG when I did my rebuild because I had my block machined then, so I only needed to get the head done and I could have gone with an MHG. Stupid decisions.

well not tomorrow...Only since I won't be driving it until next friday at the earliest :biglaugh:
But that is kinda what I figured. I have a spare head and a friend that can machine it, and given that it hasn't blown yet, I think I'll get my spare ready, swap it and the HG, and call it good.

Back in 2009, I was a noob to Supras when I bought mine. It had a hole in the block, a perfect body, and was $1600. I jumped on it, and $1500 and 5 onths later, it was running. Runs great still, although I've maybe put 1000 miles on it since the rebuild. But I know more about it today then I did...
