I have an 89 turbo, lowered on Tokiko Blues with Eibach Prokit springs. I was running 245/40/18 tires that suffered some damage. I may be able to pick up some 245/45/18's on sale. Does anyone else run this size on the front and do you have any issues with rubbing?
Thanks guys,
Mark
I called Michelin and they left me on hold for a long time. At first the call center person thought the Supra was a light truck. After 15 minutes on hold they told me 30 psi but I don't trust that answer as they really seemed to have no idea.
Hi Guys,
I run 285/35/18 Michelin Pilot rear tires on 18" Volk SF Challenge wheels and was wondering what tire pressure I should be using for regular everyday driving?
I checked the pressure this morning and it read 24.5 psi on both rear tires. The sidewall states that the max inflation...
Damn, one of the only places with a dyno in my area has said they will only tune full standalone from now on. I guess I'll have to take it somewhere else.
That's the plan so far, along with a walbro, afpr, mhg, arp studs and a new clutch. Is there a dual ball bearing option for the 57 trim CT26? I looked on Suprasport but it doesn't mention anything in the descrption about it being ball bearing. Also, is it even necessary to have dual BB on a...
So just a straight drop in fuel pressure using your AFPR, wow! So are you planning to add a tuning device or are you leaving it as is?
I was planning on installing an aeromotive afpr and a AFC-Neo at the same time.
On a Mustang Dyno I made 248 RWHP and 290 TQ @ 15 psi @ 5000 rpm on the stock CT26 with the following mods:
- HKS Dragger exhaust
- 3" defcon downpipe
- high flow cat
- Lexus AFM
- 550 injectors
- Blitz ebc
- fjo wideband kit
- hks intake
- spearco intercooler with hardpipes
My...
I have a 89 turbo with a lexus afm and a HKS Super mega flow intake. I'd like to replace the foam filter with a K&N.
Anyone know what diameter the opening on the filter needs to be and how long of a filter can fit in the engine bay?
I only ask because I don't have the car with me at the...
All this talk of headgaskets leads me to another question; which thickness should I go with for my goals? If I know I'm staying somewhere around 350-400 rwp, which mhg is recommended? I figured a 2mm would be fine but not sure.
Thanks for all the replies so far!
Thanks ForcedTorque and 92nsx.
I have a RPS 6-puck clutch but I've been hearing bad things about them so I may not install it and opt for something different.
Any idea what the ideal boost would be for a 57 trim? I'm thinking 14 psi with the mods I mentioned would be sufficient.
