i cant tell you if those wheels will fit or not but stock our cars come with about -1.5% of camber in the rear and the fron tires are 0% so unless you are on the track i woulnd mess with it
you do have a point....): thats why im getting a 240 soon :D but there is a thread around here that describes a mod for the front angle issue, and im addicted to being sideways so i cant not be sideways. grip is nice if your worried about time in a circut situation. i also work at a body shop...
does anybody have any pics with a supra that has 98-04 stock five spoke mustang wheels? i know they fit flush just want to know what they look like, i think they would look great!
oh?? so with stiff supsension your tires grip more?? i thought that stiff suspension was needed for drifting because it helped eliminate body roll to keep all the tires on the ground so the driver was in full controll? and what are stock spring rates vs really stiff?
your kind of right?!?! yes clutch kick drifting is effective but not in any situation. i would like to watch you take a high speed technical corner and "pop" the clutch in 3rd and contoll the car while sideways with mk3 terrible steering angle and do anything but spin out. the more correct form...
I live in montana so i cant be ridiculously low, stiff isnt an issue i can put up with it. My track is the street, we dont have tracks here except for scca which is held in an open parking lot, so old highways and windy mountain roads will be what im driving on. What are stock spring rates, and...
i dont plan on installing a bias pressure valve i think that is a waste of time. i just want to improve the weight transfer to the front when i step on the brakes so there is less weight on the rear tires. it sounds like i can acomplish this by installing new brake lines, and improving the front...
hey guys, ive been reading around on alot of different threads about suspension and coilovers and sway bars and strut braces and such. i want to build my car to go sideways for the most part but still be a daily driver. i know that front and rear sway bars are a great place to start, and that...
all i want to do is make the front bias more heavy but i guess if stock bias is 70/30 than what ill do is just upgrade front rotors and pads and leave the rear stock. i also heard that stainless steel brake lines help a bunch because they dont flex under pressure, thus making the ped stiff as f*ck?
ya like i said i havnt researched it completely yet. but to rebuild my 7m with new pistons rods and machine and balance work + turbo, exhaust manifold, and intercooler i would be close to 3500 anyway
ya i mean if a motor is coming out in the first place might as well throw the best back in, and besides its almost more cost effective to go 1jz. i can get a 1jz for a bout 2300 with tranny and wiring harness and ecu, then all i need is piping and intercooler and misc stuff. i havnt done...
someone else will probably correct me but i think that might be too much offset for that wide a wheel. i think your fenders would need rolling or you might have suspension clearance issues.
Ive been looking at some basic five spokwheels much like the mk4 wheels. How would a 17x9 + 30 fit? I think it would fit ok, without much if any fender moding?
