i know that making sure both surfaces are level is a must. i already did a bhg job on my motor that i have now and it blew again because i didnt have the block decked and i didnt check to see if it needed it. what can i do to see if the block needs machining? feeler gauge and a straight edge?

yup they are 2600 for a set and for roughly 650 a wheel i think that i will have to go with something else :/. they look awesome but i cant afford that

if you are runnin NA then exhaust gas temp doesnt matter much, correct? does deleting the egr do anything for gas milage? i know that it is a pain in the ass to deal with when doing a HG replacement or anything on that side of the intake it gets in the way. for a NA is it a good idea?

ya i can just throw a 7mge with cams or so in it for now and then when i want to up grade im going to use the 7mge in a sand rail that i built in school its complete with out a motor. this way nothing that i do will be a complete wast. and that 7mge will be plenty of power for a 800lb sand rail
