since we're on the topic of retorque....i just put my rebuilt NA engine back together and have only have had time to turn it over for 30 minutes a night for a week. everything's good and runs great! do i need to worry as much about retorque on an NA??

if it helps,.... mine had the same noise. turns out it WAS rod knock. had to rebuild the bottom end with new bearings, crankshaft, and piston rings. about $1500. GL with it.

well, true, it only uses one bracket. it sits fine....it does lay on the power steering hoses a little harder then i like, but i just put some heavy duty tape wear it sits until i fab something better down the road. intake helps, but not that noticeable. exhaust is where you wanna open her up...

i heard you could mod a honda aftermarket intake tube, ya know those silver ones you find on e-bay. but, that's kinda cheesing it. i had a shop cut me a piece of scrap tube to fit and i just polished it. then got turbonetics fittings from a friend.

for the passenger side dent, try removing the inside panel and lcarefully using a mallet, massage the dent outas best as possible. still try the suction cup method too. I've heard of guys using dry ice, (the cold contracts the metal back into shape), but doesn't always work.

thanks..kinda crappy angle to see everything. got a header on the other side. i was going to polish the intake, but after about 10 hours of sanding & polishing; it was better for me to just get the whole thing powder-coated. was only like $60 & it will hold up better to wear & tear.
