Thanks for the responses I have been talking to him most of the day so far picking him for information about the car when i asked if he had done any upgrades the only things he mentioned was the tranny being rebuilt eboc or what ever springs new muffler and he wasnt sure if any of it further up...

So I found a supra that I'm interested in buying the owner says that he replaced the plugs but didn't gap the plugs correctly and it won't rev past 2 grand. Do you have an amp wired in on the car maybe your wires for that are crossed and I know that not everyone uses fused power wires

Yea over here in western washington we got hammered. There is a big open parking lot where there was a bunch of 240 guys over there doing donuts and snow drifting. It looked like a lot of fun lol but ya with how low you are im sure that it would act more like a snow plow lol

The wire going to oil pressure gauge could be disconnected so look to see if there are any wires loose or disconnected and for your white smoke when was the last time you did a tune up some fouled plugs will give you a hesitant start.

You want to check it after the oil has had some time to settle. But yes change the oil and full it with 5 quarts.

Have you got it running

If you are wanting to spool faster and rev higher I would def focus on the head I would go with larger valves and like 264 or 272 cams. You will def spool faster with the cams upgrade
