so the flat side with the protruding splines should face the flywheel? the raised spring side should face the pressure plate? By running my car for no more than 2 mins cause damage to my new clutch?

actually, while looking i noticed i have the protruding spring side of the clutch disc towards the flywheel. Thats correct rite? i have the flate side with the protruding splines towards the pressure plate.

clutch disc was installed as per the tsrm.

ok guys, ordered my clutch and it comes this thursday. all oem toyota stuff. My problem now is would i have to machine the flywheel, leave it how it is, or buy a autozone reman? I only have next friday and saturday to work on it, so time is of the essence.

Had a ring and pinion explode on me, but that was due to my stupidity of burn outs and then finding dry pavement.

^ agree. I was chasing leaks for awhile until i finnaly replaced my valve cover gaskets.
