    12 volt mod tip/discovery

So I checked the TSRM and all the other threads about how to do the 12 volt mod. my way is apparently a little different. My way just eliminates the resistor so that when 9 volts is supposed to be there, it is actually 12v.

    12 volt mod tip/discovery

Hmm. I never found any pictures when i searched before, just that the resistor was on the passenger side. I assumed the thing i unplugged was it because it had a heat sink on it to dissipate heat. The grey round plug goes to the relay IIRC, and i still want that to work, but i want it to work at...

    Spokane Supras

Hey, How many people do we have on here from spokane? I have seen maybe 3 or 4 other mkIII's around town, and maybe 3 mkII's. I went to the spokanesupras davids pizza meet a while back and met a couple people. Just kinda curious because i saw a really nice 89+ red mk3 driving up division the...

    12 volt mod tip/discovery

Hey guys, I Just did the 12 volt mod and bypassed the resistor to run the fuel pump always at 12 volts. This is done to simplify tuning so that you dont have to 'tune around' the switch from 9v to 12v. All the other guides and posts I have read say to do this with a thick piece of wire on...

o2 removed, ecu still showing vf

I have been having a similar issue. I have a reading of about 2 volts on VF no matter what. -Maf pro is on its own circuit powered before ecu. no code 24 -stock o2 blue wire is cut, heater lines still in place After i reset the codes, i got it to stay at 0 volts. I let the car get up to temp...

    forcing car into open loop

So that my maft-pro can control idle/non-wot afr ratios without fighting the ecu. It also allows me to use the cruise and lean-burn features. If i leave the o2 hooked up, the ECU and the maft-pro will fight each other and my AFR will bounce all over the place. The idea is that if the stock...

    forcing car into open loop

The information i have seen about forcing the car into open loop has not been very clear. This is for a maft-pro, but this question is about the ecu in general. Force open loop by: disconnecting 02 sensor - this throws a code disconnect 02 signal leaving 02 heater plugged in - no code...

    Anyone with a MAFT PRO!

Hi, Im in spokane wa and im wondering if anyone in the area with a maft pro would be willing to let me try their maft box in my car. I think mine has a problem internally and i want to make sure before i send it in. I just need to see if the maft box will start my car. I started a thread on...

    Proliance Radiator Cap

Hi, Im working on getting my '91 turbo back on the road and i bought a proliance oem replacement radiator. The stock cap doesn't seem like it wants to fit on there. Do i have to buy a different one, like the blitz type 1, or maybe something from '88 or earlier?
