200k miles, every maintenence record was kept down to tires replaced, batteries and oil changes, but no mention of a HG. I dont know if I should expect it to go on me, or cross my fingers and hope that i got the rare one of the breed. I dont know.

OK, thanks for the tips. I still dont see why a BOV would have an effect on my car after i come to a complete stop, sit for 5 seconds, then stall. Or why it would at start up. I'll get the TPS checked out, alternator bench tested, and vacuum lines checked over, Again.

I figured it was my stupidity lol. i looked at the picture i took yesterday and was like wait a second... i put a breather after my MAF, that could be a problem but im not 100% sure. Thank you guys for your insight. I'll get on that tomorrow, blocking off that hole. Thanks guys!

i forgot to mention that i also put in a spectre air filter on the MAF and instead of blocking off the old bov recirculation opening on the accordian pipe, i put a breather on instead, was that stupid of me? i attached a pic of my new engine bay. does this shed any more light?
