All kidding aside, this offer applies to any respected, long standing forum member. I spent 3.5 years in Japan from '77-80 when I was in the Navy. I drove a older Nissan that had problems going 125 kilometers a hour let alone mph. I don't remember seeing any speed limits back then over 125 kph...
How about you I.J. I know that shipping might be expensive to the Land Down Under though. I already thought of a model # for this shaft.

Doward,
We have our two-piece design that dr.jonz was going to test out for us. We have PM'd him with no response.Would you be interested in testing it out? We would only charge you our cost plus shipping on this two-piece hybrid shaft.
Robert
Several forum members requested a quote on a rebuilt/redesigned two-piece shaft because they remained skeptical of the one-piece shaft even though we thought that we had proved it's worthiness. These members also have said that they planned from time to time on driving at speeds in excess of 125...
Hello Forum Members,
We have just finished putting together some numbers for a 2 Piece driveshaft with aluminum rear section. Below is a list of everything our 2 piece shaft will feature.
New OEM Front ujoint & center bearing
New aluminum rear shaft section with Spicer flanges and high...
For us to warranty any shaft that goes out we would require that it has all new u-joints, center bearing and is balanced as a set. We could be creating a warranty nightmare to do it any other way.
Robert
We have our version of a improved two-piece shaft waiting on Dr.jonz to contact us to pick it up and test it out. It has a new u-joint and hanger bearing installed into the factory original front shaft and a brand new rear shaft. The rear shaft is aluminum with 1310 series solid performance...
Hello Forum Members,
Recently we at Shaftmasters Inc provided single piece aluminum driveshafts to two forum members (Piratetip and Jdub). Not to blow our own horn but, both Piratetip and Jdub seem to be very pleased with the product. Here are links to the posts where they review our product...
Well, jdubs results are in. It seems that the single piece aluminum shaft we sent him has eliminated all his vibration/resonance issues. You can read his review here:

We want to thank jdub for being our tester and we are glad we were able to eliminate the vibration/resonance issues he was experiencing at 70 MPH with his Jaws Gear single piece aluminum shaft.
Thanks Again, David
Our 3 inch diameter .125 wall shaft is rated higher than the 3 inch diameter steel shafts because of the difference in wall thickness. If you went with a 3 inch diameter steel shaft that was a little thicker the rating would be equal or greater than our aluminum shaft but would also add alot of...
We wish we were on the forum a year ago also. For the same amount of cash we could have provided an aluminum shaft that is lighter and rated for higher torsional yeild.
Steel .083 wall shaft = 2517 ft.lb
Steel .065 wall shaft = 2007 ft.lb
Aluminum .125 wall shaft = 3633 ft.lb
If you ever...
We only wish you had bought it from us instead. How much did you pay for it? Our shaft goes for $349.00 with free shipping in (CONUS) continental us.
Robert
According to Wallace Racing's web-site the torsional yield for our 3.0 inch diameter, .125 wall aluminum tubing is 3633 ft.-lbs. Your factory tubing is rated at approximately 2517 ft.-lbs. of torsional yield.
Recently Shaftmasters manufactured and installed a one-piece aluminum driveshaft in Piratetip's Supra. We did the install at Pande's Performance Shop in Livonia, Michigan. We had Pande do before and after dyno tests to see what affect the aluminum shaft would have over the factory two-piece...
I think that for anyone who has a worry with any modification, whether it is a driveshaft or something else, for peace of mind, don't do it! I will say though that a little education goes a long way. I have been repairing, manufacturing and balancing driveshafts for 25 years. Any two-piece shaft...
