tore my engine apart to find where the shimmer was coming from and none of the rods looked scratched but i still have to take off the mains today. i have a question on the mark number on the connecting rods for the correct bearings to go in place here are the pics of the #1 cylinder connecting...
i already ordered the cast manifold got the lower price one and made an offer of $120 and bought it, so at that price i wont complain. Sadly though as i was taking off the stock twins and went to drain my oil i found that a bit shimmer was mixed with it so now im in the process of taking the...
cool to hear they match up, how big would i need to go, or can i go, with the material thats on there? also are you guys bracing these to support the mani so the bolts arnt holding all the weight like how the stock twins had those bars on the bottom. Trying to think of a way to do that any some...
Im only shooting for 400hp anyway if anything my 550 would be my max for this car as i want it to be my DD. Ive seen someone on supraforums run the s200 and he made good power and he said it was quick to spool, compressor map shows its good for 500hp which is perfectly fine for me and should...
Well I know its cheap but I think a ebay cast is better than a ebay tubular, which read cracks at the welds, isnt flush, ports dont match and slags, I think if I get a tubular manifold I would save up for a well designed one, not just because its shiny. Ive read a few post where a couple of ppl...
Am planning on going with a ebay 2jzgte cast manifold for my single setup and have a question. There is one by godspeed which is $170 and one by boostmasters which is $120 but they look the exact same as some others as well, are they? here is the links...
think im going to go with the BW s200sx 7670. saw a 1jz supra run it and he made 500hp to the wheels. messaged him and he said spool time was great and is very streetable. just have to decide which AR to go with now
I also found this smaller turbo that carries a t4 flange but has to be port matched to the gasket....BorgWarner S200SX 7670 Turbo
With a T4 twinscroll .83AR and 3" V-band it totals $1044

But at this...
what about this BW S300sx FMW 62mm they have the same optional .88 AR but the compressor trim is a 54 as compared with the other which is a 52. the BW s300sx fmw looks like it has a more "versatile" compressor map and at a PR of 2 for this or the other BW wouldnt this turbo put me in the better...
that's a good turbo but isn't .88 AR kinda laggy, plus it uses a iconel tubine wheel which is the same as the jdm twins. Don't know if I mentioned but I need a t4 flange turbo also as t3 2jzgte manifolds are hard to come by was going to go with a logstyle godspeed mani
would anyone have any info on this Precision 6152E mfs or thoughts. here is the suprastore link. I was thinking this was an option for my 400hp goal with a T4 .58 turbine hosing for quick spool.

Ive thought about it and did plan to go the single route. thanks to tax season ill have 2300 to work with. Main reason i want to keep ecu stock is because standalone is about anther 1500 right there and I dont want to have a laptop plugged in all the time and tune it all the time as i want it to...
Proud to say i did everything myself. here is the two links for the TO4E and the 60-1. Im needing a T4 turbo because most of the manifolds for the 3jz are T4 and ill be going with a godspeed log style cast manifold...
