Does it matter since your already looking for the cheapest thing you can find?

Driftmotion sells turbo kits for 1500 FYI.

Well I know its cheap but I think a ebay cast is better than a ebay tubular, which read cracks at the welds, isnt flush, ports dont match and slags, I think if I get a tubular manifold I would save up for a well designed one, not just because its shiny. Ive read a few post where a couple of ppl ran a ebay cast with no problems for years. I already ordered a BW s200sx because I was able to get a compressor map, whereas DM has none, no offense I order other parts from them alot. I just want to know if these are the same mani and not paying more when I couldve payed less. Ive seen that treadstone but the ebay mani looks like the same design other than the wastegate mounting.

Never seen any crack. And when you buy the dm kit it includes one that Aaron has cleaned up and braced.

And the s200 is kinda small for a 3.0. S300 is only a 61mm and is what 1j guys run.

Im only shooting for 400hp anyway if anything my 550 would be my max for this car as i want it to be my DD. Ive seen someone on supraforums run the s200 and he made good power and he said it was quick to spool, compressor map shows its good for 500hp which is perfectly fine for me and should allow me to keep my stock ecu on map 3 with ac. I guess ill go with the cheaper one since th3y look the same, brlieve they just sell it under different brands to adjust price

I've used a cast manifold on mk4, the manifold should be ported and matched with the wastegate as well. They work well if u want a quick spooling mid range turbo. Mine was similar to the treadstone.

think it was an ebay manifold...everything lined up , but like i said i would do some major porting, especially of the wastegate port.

were you boost creeping because of the size? it says a 35/38mm flange? how big would i need to go, or can i go, with the material thats on there?

+1 on the port for the wastegate. I see no problem with one. I have one now on my car the ports for the head matched the gasket, only problem was the waste gate.

cool to hear they match up, how big would i need to go, or can i go, with the material thats on there? also are you guys bracing these to support the mani so the bolts arnt holding all the weight like how the stock twins had those bars on the bottom. Trying to think of a way to do that any some ideas would be nice

i already ordered the cast manifold got the lower price one and made an offer of $120 and bought it, so at that price i wont complain. Sadly though as i was taking off the stock twins and went to drain my oil i found that a bit shimmer was mixed with it so now im in the process of taking the whole thing out again and tear down tommorow. Hopefully it'll be just the bearings...hopefully.

tore my engine apart to find where the shimmer was coming from and none of the rods looked scratched but i still have to take off the mains today. i have a question on the mark number on the connecting rods for the correct bearings to go in place here are the pics of the #1 cylinder connecting rod. Which number is it to specify the corect bearing? i have already found the markings on the block for the engine and crank and are as followed

Block:3333545
front crank counterweight:111111
rear crank counterweight:3223422

Side 1 "2,P,C"

Side 2 "5,3"

bottom of conn. rod cap "3"

cast manifolds are all a copy of the turbonetics one a few years back. i think i paid 60$ for my most recent one and its a spitting image of the 470$ one a few years ago. just fyi its fine for 600hp ;)
