another thing.....at the shop i work at thats what they do...pump the brakes to bleed it and everytime it works out fine.....i don't do brakes as i'm just an oil change as i just started but have seen them done so...

ok i doubled check the accordian pipe when i did my FMIC install this weekend...the accordian had only a thin residue...no big oil spots or anything...so i'm guessing its the rings.....? its actually not as bad because my cars has been down for about a week and oil level is still 3/4...
i think the compressor seal on my turbo is blown and i think the turbo is causing me to burn the oil.. is there any places to rebuild the turbo? or is it just better to get an upgrade...? this turbo was placed in about 12000 miles ago along with my MHG, since my old turbo had chipped...

thanks IHI-RHc7 i understand what you are saying....but i forgot to mention that i just changed the HG and had the head rebuilt about a year ago and maybe 8000-10000 miles ago not sure about the mileage. when i did a compression test before i took the head apart the rings were still good...leak...

its a pita to remove....i think i need the crows foot wrench or a stubby..i removed accordian, upper ic, and other hoses in the way...but i couldn't fit any wrench in there...i'll try to tackle it again this coming weekend
check your fuses for the tach not working....should be the gauge fuse in the kickpanael driver side feet....replace the fuses and if not blown its probably your dimmer switch. mines burnt out when i installed my gauges over the weekend...climate and gauge lights shut off as soon as i turn...
