how hard is it to take the the stock oil pressure sender and put an autometer one in? can i go take it off from under the car or do i have to work up top? also what tools do i need? the oil sender is left of oil filter correct?

yea i was looking around the Napa/Kragen store...i looked at the fuse block and that might be the best way to go for me...thanks where can i find the add a circuit? it doesn't seem like kragen or napa has them?

since were talking about this...anyone know how many unused fuses....are in the fuse box? i need to tap into a 12volt source for two of my guages and was thinking of routing it to the fuse box...i currently have my boost controller routed to there...i'm not sure is there any more ignition...

is the compression test also from a leak down test? or is that dry compression test?

yea could be piston rings, or turbo seals...esp if u smoke at WOT...i was using 10w-30 after i got my valve seals changed, and MHG installed..within a week it was low....i was like WTF...before the HG install i checked for rings and compression was good...so i gotta go check if the turbo seals...

how do you guys usually hook up your autometer electrical water temp gauge? i heard that you can place it where the two characoal canister vacumn lines run to the thermostat housing and just remove the canister...? does the sender actually fit...? will the stock gauge still work if i do this...

yea i kinda of doubted it but i posted in the wanted section looking for some 550s. he said he has set of rebuilt stock cores to 550s...had it flow tested and cleaned and came with the charts...so i ono...thinking of picking them up since its direct drop in but im ight just save up and go for...
