how hard is it to take the the stock oil pressure sender and put an autometer one in? can i go take it off from under the car or do i have to work up top? also what tools do i need? the oil sender is left of oil filter correct?

Confirmed and the taper angles are different so while it might screw in sealing is going to be another matter!figgie said:noo
the autometer is not a drop in fit.
AUotmeter uses a 1/8 NPT while the port on the 7m-gte block is actually a 1/8 BSPT. THe difference. One thread per inch. Meaning that you WILL cross thread the autometer sender if you put it in wihout an adapter.
supratkfy said:its a pita to remove....i think i need the crows foot wrench or a stubby..i removed accordian, upper ic, and other hoses in the way...but i couldn't fit any wrench in there...i'll try to tackle it again this coming weekend
