I'm also looking for a 1JZ. Contacted JHot and got the same response, nothing. Contacted Jarco and was told they have nothing and aren't importing engines anymore. Looks like it's now or never if you want a 1JZ.

I've got to say that never in my life have I seen that much play on a shifter in gear. Is this normal for worn out bushings or was yours just a bad example with completely shot bushings? My car had 210,000mi on it when I bought it and it was tight as can be. The PO must have replaced them.
