use a paper clip to e1 and te1 then get into the car, turn key to on and wait and watch the check engine light blink. blink-blink (1/2 second wait) blink equals 21. Anyway unplug ur afm connector, then plug it back in securely.
Thanks. Well the problem with the auto cable/ linkage is there's an 1 1/2" of play in the cable before it contacts the lever to move the butterfly. Therefore the car will only go 60-70% throttle. Adjust the Throttle Rod all the way in the direction to shorten it's length. You have to...
This is actually for a 7mgte. I don't have the na supra anymore. Anyway i got it working. It's fine. I have a question though about how to know if my manual boost controller is causing problems with the engine? I was wondering how i could run the boost at stock setting? Like run a hose from...
I just got new turbo linkage and cable. They're used but in good condition. Only problem is there is 1" of play in the pedal and when the pedal is floored. The throttle doesn't come wide open. It goes to 75 %. I tried adjusting the screw for adjustment but it didn't fix it. How do u fix...

Hey i don't know what u mean by that? About the r154 compared the w58, Yeah it's one hell of a PITA to put in. Well i guess it wouldn't be so bad with the clutch on the input shaft first, but the pain of using a torque wrench on the clutch housing bolts in that Tight space just makes me sick...
Yeah we're reinstalling an r154 on our 89' T and we bolted the clutch up to the engine even after reading the tsrm which said u have to put the clutch in the bellhousing. There was no reason why they wanted us to put it in the bellhousing. Since i've done W58s so much i was like whatever...
I'm looking for an intercooler pipe that come from the throttle body replacing the 3000 pipe like how i have it now but with mounts for the vaccum hose trees ya know for cheap?
I tried my local toyota dealer as well as Jay marks, both with no go. There is no part number on the tps connector therefore they said it's required that you'll have to get it from a salvage yard or something... Or someone on here..
I would like to know how to remove the TPS connector from the harness without cutting the wires so i can attempt to repair the pins and possibly reinstall the connector. I feel that i did clearly state my question several times through the post.
TPS (Throttle Position Sensor).... If you know of any other sensor with that abbreviation please let me know. There should have been no confusion as i clearly stated tps and i never mentioned cps...
Hey i went to O'reilly and we looked thru the catalog and found nothing on a connector that would fit the tps.. it simply won't work... If you can convince me with atleast a part number or what i will be doing with this "Auto parts store 4 wire connector" then let me know.
What's was that supposed to mean?
So from my understanding it's not a connector? It's just plugs that plug into the existing wires to i just plug into each pin on the tps, eliminating the connector? that doesn't sound right. You need to explain more... Not u jetjock.
Would you happen to know how to remove the connector from the harness? I looked all thru the tsrm and found nothing on how to remove the connector. I went outside and took a look at the tps and the connector and couldn't findout how to remove the connector. I tried to pull the pins togther...
that looks good but could i get one that'll fit the 7mgte tps? i need to know how to remove the connector, remove the metal pins from the wires, reinstall them metal pins with a new connector...
