At what pressure are you trying to set it at? if you are trying 30 psi, it is the lower end of its operating range.. Mine also does the same at 30 psi.. but works fine at 36 psi.

Mine made noise for long time.. checked the fluid.. I found shavings.. the pinion bearing was shot I guess.. I ended up buying a used diff from one who was parting his car.. now, no noise.. smooth ride..

dont mess with the pinion seal if not leaking.. I did that one year ago, and must have not done the preload right.. now I ended up replacing the diff.. hew..

when the car is on, does it smell like gasoline around the damper?? if so, replace it..

I have a 3" SS system from Random Tech. The muffler is straight through with packing around it.. It sound nice at low rpms.. but above 2000, its too lound.. not all that impressed with it..

I used gasket remover spray and gasket remover scraper.. several hours later, the gasket was gone.. (never want to do that again!!)
