    RedEj8's Build

It should be a good project car, but I personally think you overpaid for the car based on what you told us and looking at the condition of the car. It might just be the area you are from, but we have pretty nice cars in our region with no issues that sell for that price or maybe upwards of a...

    89-92 climate control question

I have an '87 MKIII and just upgraded my silvery climate controller with one off a '91. After the hookup, I noticed it works different than my '87. I'll pose this question to those that have 89-92 cars and those 86.5-88 owners that have done the same swap over conversion: 89-92 owners: For...

    soft top targas?

I do agree with RazoE. I'd love to have a compact soft top that I could take off and still use the rear area to put stuff, like going on a weekend getaway or even grocery shopping. I think the Porsche 911 Targa is a folding type.

Imported supras actually come with this wing?

looks to me that it should belong on a Geo as it looks soo cheap and tacky. I'd just go without one before putting that fugly thing on my MK3

A/C won't turn off: continuous run cold

Well, the repair shop is now on day 3 (of just trying to diagnose why the a/c compressor is not shutting off) and they still have no idea why the compressor is not shutting off when the A/C button it turned to off. I had them check this wire and they said they did and that was not even the wire...

    ABS Delete

cheapest way I know is to simply remove the fuse, then you'll have the traditional braking system where you can lock 'em up whenever you desire.

    ***The Blue Supras Thread***

Boosted17: Beautiful car. I sure like that pearl blue, I had it on my '88 Altrac Turbo. Why did you ditch the wheels that you bought it with and go back to the sawblades? I actually really like it with the custom wheels.

A/C won't turn off: continuous run cold

thanks guys for your responses. I assume that "CC" refers to the compressor clutch. And to answer Antman, the green light on the A/C only comes on when the button is switched, but of course goes out when it's pressed again, that is while the compressor is still clunking away.

    Supra got tint yesterday.

Question: how did they transition your tint on the back window toward the top...the area that has that factory dotted "fade to black"? I had my windows done 4 weeks ago, they took the tint all the way to the top and it looks like shit since there are alot of parts that did not adhere to that...

Wanted Pics of shadow grey interior

Though I am not head over hills for my blue interior it's far better than Toyota's Gastly Gay-Gray interior. I'm glad you're happy with your color, but I think DARK blue is far better than your gray. Though I think that the '92 Dark gray/black is the ultimate which they should have done all...

A/C won't turn off: continuous run cold

Car: 1987 Supra Turbo w/ 75K miles Symptom: my a/c compressor will not turn off unless I hit the "off" button for the fan, therefore I can not use heat or just the vent air without the air conditioner compressor running. This is with the A/C button in either the on or off mode and that light...

    MPG?

The highest I've seen mine was just shy of 23 mpg...this was last week when I had to do alot of freeway driving. And this is according to my super monitor, which appears to be pretty accurate. I've calculated the old fashion way and they are consistent. I don't believe anyone would get 30 mpg...

    Something wrong with this picture?

actually there are a few problems with the picture: 1. It's out of focus 2. The person who took the picture needs to learn how to use the camera 3. I do believe there's an issue with one of the holes.

more pics of my supra --- no 56k

what's the deal with these ugly arse Kenworth sized muffler/tailpipes you guys are dragging behind your cars? - Rule # 1: Mufflers are to be hidden (tucked underneath) unless you're an 18 wheeler Rule # 2: Tailpipes can be exposed

    chrome sawblades?????

got to admit the black sawblades look like shit on the MKIII style wheel. However I think the MKIV's looked pretty good. I dunno, maybe cause they just look like hubcaps when their black.

What's the worst job you've ever had?

I was an insurance claims adjuster, listening to assholes complain about their injury and wrecked car. Case load was overwhelming and it was not uncommon to have 20 voicemails when you first arrive in the morning. Pay was decent but compared to other jobs and responsibilites, it should have...
