Funny, same exact thing happened to me. I even had oil in the turbo/ic pipes too. That was only until I changed the PVC, then threw in a catch can. Boosted 12lbs+ ever since without a problem. Hmmm:hsugh:

I got the chance to start the car today, after the car sat for about a week or two. No smoke whatsoever:thumbup: I have another 150miles or so till pulling the plugs out, I might just do it tomorrow for the hell of it. Pics to come...

You got it! hence my question :icon_bigg I've read plenty about people trying to tune the EMU by themselves, but not too much from shops or individuals that have had shops tuning it for them.

do you know if anyone has had their 1jz w/ the EMU dyno tuned and have it run successfully? I still have mine, but I'm really close to getting the PFC.

I'm in the same situation, I've had my EMU for a VERY long period of time now. Just haven't installed it yet because of the problems people were having with it. I'm thinking about ditching it and go power FC. Anyone here running the latest Haltech or even the AEM?

I've actually tried both routes, and what worked for me* was just routing the catch can on the exhaust side and leaving the inake side alone. I* got more smoke from routing it on both sides. Damn those debates, only way of knowning what will work for your* car is testing it out. Everybody has...
