I'm in the planning stages of my full flow oil system, and I've run into a wall as to where to put my oil cooler. I use the car for drift, so I'm shooting for a decent sized one, but the limits where I can place it.
I planned on using this...

need to replace the hose off the throttle body, and the 2 hoses coming off the valve covers. just figuring I might as well do the rest of the hoses too. Ive seen people use this clear pvc tubing, that has a white reinforced weave. Its pretty flexible, but I'm unsure as to how it will withstand...
the return hose on my charcol canister looks to be on its last legs, so I was hoping to replace it. I was wondering, since fuel vapors travel through it, does certain hose need to be used?
I need to change my thermostat, is it possible to do without draining all of the coolant? also, the TSRM recommends mixing coolant and distilled water, would it be a bad idea just to run pure coolant?
bump, anyone have any input?
just thought I'd add, water temps never got higher than below half the gauge. only code that shows is 51, but I think thats cause I have no neutral safety switch

update: adjusted my tps, but now it idles terribly, Vf's at idle are now 0.00, but the idle is still extremely lean, now in the 16's unless i bump up the idle, and adjusting the base fuel pressure doesnt seem to change either the Vf or a/f ratio. also, lowest vacuum is now 20. did i somehow...
i have had a problem with my idle Vf's and lean idle, so i decided to revert things back to stock to try and fix it. I put the narrowband O2 sensor back in the turbo elbow, put my wideband in a separate bung further downstream, undid the wideband emulation. started her up, no change. started...
