So does Beech Shifter come with the bushings? If not what bushing would be good to order to replace while its out? Are they the OE bushing or does it take different ones?
Thank you Steve! There lies my problem... I deleted the VSV's, so there is no vacuum running to the control valve. I will run a vacuum line to it and problem solved.
Today I had some condensation on my windshield so I decided to use my defrost for the first time since getting my car running after it had sat for 7 years. After a 20 mile drive it never heated up. I checked the temp of both heater hoses and both were nice and hot so I know it isnt a flow...
I have tuning experience. Mostly with ECMLink ON DSM's, and AFC on multiple cars. I think with help from their forums I will be fine. I am definitely not a noob on building cars, and I did the build on the 7M that is in the car.
Thanks for looking out for me though!
And BTW what front lip is...
I am in the market for a short throw shifter and am looking for someones experience with the Beech Performance shifter. If you've used one, how did you like it? Is a 60% shorter throw acurate as that sounds a little inflated to me compared to some others? Does it come with any of the...
Ok guys, I finally have the car up and running and am trying to get prepared for the winter in which I will be going with a larger turbo (and all supporting mods of course). I will have some extra money this month, so I am looking to get some of the things purchased and installed that I will be...
Thanks for all the help guys. There was a restriction in the line. Once I blew the line out she reved just fine... Purred like a kitten for the first time in 7 years!
Thanks for the replies guys...
From what I understand the pulsation dampener should have nothing to do with flow, only there to smooth the pressure from the pulse of the injectors... (Of course correct me if I'm wrong)
Yes there is between 4 and 5 gallons in the tank.
Tried clamping the...
After 2 years and a lot of patience I started my Supra for the first time today. Upon starting it it idled for a few seconds and died. I restarted it again, same thing over and over... I watched the fp guage on my DM AFPR and as the car idled the fp dropped to 0psi until it died and then...
If you have a way to make a mark on the picture you posted earlier in a little more exact spot, that would help a ton. And by the looks of it, I won't have to pull the timing belt to do it which is a major plus.
Do you have any pics that show the exact area a little better? Or an exact explaination of the spot to drill? Also how much room do I have for error? I mean how close am I to a sealed surface when drilling this?
I have a feeling the plug is not going to be there at all for two reasons... First...
So the area where the plug is installed does not normally have oil flowing to it? I guess I'm just a little confused as I was thinking that the gasket went around the perimeter of the entire cover, or does it go around this area?
I completed my build a few months ago, and when I went to prime the oiling system and turbo I found two large oil leaks. First ended up being the threaded plug behind the flywheel (already fixed) then I found a leak in the front. It is leaking from the rear timing cover (front cover). I'm...
Well this is a premade kit for the mkiii, all the piping is perfect, but I was hoping someone had used this kit before, and could show me how they mounted their core.
