    Ebay Coilovers any good?

Exactly my question as well. He doesn't list the spring rates so who the fuck knows. I bet they are stiffer than hell though, so I doubt that stock struts would work very well with them. On the flip side, if they aren't stiff and they are in their lowest position, you're going to bottom out like...

Carbon Fiber / Fiberglass items what would you make?

Have a look at post #45. There are 2 pic's of my CF "B" pillar vents. And you're right, they do look ultra-sick.

    Shocks Blown?

It actually could be both. Weak springs will over-work the shocks, especially when driven hard, and as you pointed out the Eibach's aren't the stiffest spring out there. Also, I have seen instances in which fairly new springs lose their stiffness, possibly due to a defect in the tempering process.

    Supra won't go into reverse!

Sounds like it could be the shifter itself. Does it feel sloppy? Also could be the shift fork and/or lever shaft. http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Library/EPC/291410/catalog.aspx?F=3307&P=1 I'd start with inspecting the shifter...

Any other car seats bolt in a mkIII?

The previous posters make a good point in that; as far as oem seats, the Supra's are hard to beat. And I'm not nearly as big a fan of the stock seats as some are. I agree they're good for standard equipment. That being said I'm thinking about trying to fit a passanger seat into the drivers...

    Nice craigslist ad

A lot of us are slow to catch up to the fact that these cars in low miles original condition are starting to bring the money. I'll bet he sells it for pretty close to what he wants.

is this site reliable for the 7m?

I've seen good jdm motors and I've seen bad ones. Alot of them get damaged in shipping. You have to seek out an importer with a stellar reputation who's backing his merchandise with a good warranty.

    Just how fast is it??

Probably mistaking "boost leak" on an older car w/ leaky intercooler connections for "lag". Although if you're expecting an even distribution of power throughout the rpm range like a V8 then you'll need to adjust your expectations. Slightly higher compression or n/a cams will help but you'll pay...

    Driveshaft Carrier Bearing

I don't think your going to find that the Toyota center support bearing does it's job any better or will be much/any more durable than the cheapy aftermarket unit. Frankly, this is a rare instance where I feel like an idiot for buying the Toyota part, especially given the price difference. As...

    Driveshaft Carrier Bearing

I mentioned that im my first post on this thread. I also pointed out that I was told by someone I know who bought one recently that they have addressed the problem and it should now be a simple replacement, although I have not actually seen the new corrected part myself . I just looked at...

Car not starting randomly? READ THIS (30 Amp Starter Relay Mod)

I acknowledge that you're not obligated to help anyone. Wouldn't it have probably taken less effort/print on your part to help out with a tech tip? One last quote: If those who owe us nothing gave us nothing, how poor we would be. ~Antonio Porchia, I'm not trying to start...

Buying a budget tire, anyone tried these? (I picked/purchased already, thanks guys)

You are saying that your federal's/falkens grip beter than the Ecsta's? Which Ecsta were they? Not ASX's, cause there's no comparison.

Buying a budget tire, anyone tried these? (I picked/purchased already, thanks guys)

For the money Kumho 's can't be beat. To get a better tire you would have to go top of the line Nitto or Toyo and then it's only marginally better, unless you go Nitto nt-01 R compound (which are a lot better). As a matter of fact I prefer the Kumho's to Goodyear or BF Goodrich. I was as...
