Well, I have had my Supra for a couple years now and have only had the problem of the car not going into reverse maybe twice before and fixed itself it seems. It hasn't happened in at least a year. Now I park for school behind someone with a spot behind me open. When I get back from school there is a car parked behind me with little room, so I need to back up a bit before I can swing my front end out. Surprisingly, the stick wouldnt go into reverse and the more I tried the closer I got to the truck in front of me. To make a long story short, I had to leave the car there till that night, got a a hefty $40 parking ticket and drove home. I go to leave to school this morning with my Supra and again it won't go into reverse for me to back out of the garage.
The clutch truly shifts smooth on all the other gears. I haven't ever really had a problem with the tranny. I had the clutch replaced with a Centerforce Dual Friction clutch like 10,000km ago. Never had a problem since.
What could it be?
