    Get an MK4 pump if you don't want the noise. To me, my walbro isn't that loud. I can hear it outside the car better than I can hear it inside.

    Seems to me you're eliminating the pressure wave at the source. The reason there is a surge in the first place is because the throttle is shut and the turbo is still pumping air for a moment. A manifold vacuum source will open the BOV immediately and vent the pressurized air right at the...
