Recon I'm at around £4000 so far and it's not fitted yet. Recon around £500 should be about done. Not a cheap engine swap.

Fitted mine in the dash grill on the passenger side with my avcr. Fits perfect.

used to have a large wing on my mk2 it was not fitted through the glass it was held on boths sides. seem to remember drilling 4 holes to mount it through the hatch. Sorry i can be much help to dimentions though i dont have the car anymore,

Where did you get it and how much.

Was hoping to get a second box fitted in my stainless exhaust to try and kill the drone. not a option so what are you guys running. Needs to be 3" wide and prefer not too loud. Only have 1 box on my current one.

Have the same set up as you with similar tuning problems. Car runs bad at full boost and no one local to me wants to play with the safcii. Very frustrating. Been advised to fit a emanage ultimate. I have a t4 turbo to fix next.

Yea not sure myself about the heat sheild. Time will tell i guess. Driven it a couple of times and no signs of any burning smells so i am hopeful.

The engine bay was blue after the way it looked in the first pic, hence the blue pipes. Quite like the contrast between the two tbh.

Spent most of yesterday rebuilding the engine bay with all my newly powder coated parts. Started of by fitting new plugs while it was in bits. Quite happy with the results. The guys did a great job with the parts. I have a set of silver cam covers for sale now that I had done at the same time...

They look wider than my 275/30/19s that i have fitted. My offset is +30 and i had to tap the arch in a tad. Also have 10"s out back. Don't think i could go wider without a proper roll job getting done.
