Which gaskets do you recommend? what's the difference with the 1mm 1.5mm 2mm thickness gaskets. do i need to get the block & head shaved that much?

yah i think. it is a complete rebuild kit pistons, rings, bearings, gaskets and water pump for around $300. too good to be true......?

Does anyone know or have resources to decode jdm engine vin #'s to make sure you're getting a jdm engine? sorry if this is the wrong thread.
