Well, Since I already said that I wasnt going to pull the engine.
That led me to believe that was another process of fixing that issue.
I have a spare 7mge in the garage, If I was going to pull the oem engine. I might as well roll
around on this coolant eating monster until it blows and...
Only the oil above the head is milky, Drained the oil pan..Looks clean and pure.
"1) Just clean the block with a scraper and dont let anything drop down into the oil galley or coolant channels."
Why does everything on the net insist that you deck the timing cover when installing a HG ?

For some reason or another, My crank pulley bolt got loose and came off.
I started up the supra yesterday and pulled out of my garage...Went back to close the overhead door and theres my crank pulley bolt.
So....How do I lock up the engine so I can torque this guy back down?
Its a 5 spd...
Sorry to take this OT but I was under the impression that the
waterfall sound was air trapped in the heater core...??
I didnt know it had anything to do with a BHG.
Must of been taken apart at some point and scraped up then, I used brake cleaner and a dish scrubber.
Doesn't really matter since I'm going with new...But was curious still the same.
Pulled a motor from the yard today, Ran when I pulled it.
Started taking it apart for a rebuild and found something weird, The first two are the "damaged" pistons...the last is a non "damaged" one.....
Any ideas on why or how this happened, Obviously it wasn't that bad to kill...
yea the thread lock will hold, It has a heat rating of 400 degrees and 500 degrees to get it to break down if you need to remove it.
I wouldt think a N/A would get that hot...Im in Indiana now and about to leave for Florida for the winter in about 3 weeks..I really don't want to monkey with this...
Yea, The exhaust manifold is already off and the very last thread is semi stripped by the firewall.
