Nice vid, thanks for the great detail. I think the regulators are discontinued, I tried ordering them but no luck. I did buy those guide pads about 5 years ago, I wonder if they are still available.

Yes, per Driftmotion, the difference is the pulley diameter. Getting a good one is hard, I went with 3 remanufactured ones and they did not last or were rebuilt pretty crappy. Finally went with Driftmotion and so far it's working good.

Replaced the power steering pump for the 3rd time in less than 2 months. These rebuilt pumps are so unreliable. Too bad Toyota does not carry them anymore. I hope this one will last.

They are 3/8 hoses and you can use the 6AN fittings. I bought the hoses from Driftmotion, Gates 3/8 Push lock hoses.

Just finished installing mine, Toyota does not carry them anymore. I checked with Curt @ Elmhurst and they were discontinued. I think I got the last one from Cardone via Oreilly Auto parts. As for other rebuilders, they will want you to ship your old one and they will rebuild and ship them back...

Howzit guys and gals, just purchased another MK3. Working on a lot of small little things. Anyway, for the power steering reservoir, do they still make the rubber gasket for the cap or sell the cap with the gasket? How are you guys fixing the leaks around the cap?

Go to WTB section and ask. I remember removing them from stock and putting them on the Koni's. Good Luck!

There is also a clear tint that will filter out the damaging UV from the sun. I had it installed on my windshield and it also minimize the heat from coming in the cabin. The clear tint is somewhat pricey, but I think it's worth it. Otherwise, put a dash cover.
