I rounded out one of my stock headbolts and didn't have any luck getting it out with a larger hex socket. I ended up using a Sock-It-Out bolt extractor to remove it. It worked perfectly. I still have it laying around, if you're interested in it let me know.

Beat me to Lange's writeup. It was very helpful for me. I ended up using an 89 combo switch with the 89 steering wheel on my 88. Everything plugged right up and the cruise control works. I use the button on the dash to turn the cruise on and off. The rest of the buttons on the steering...

I believe you could make an 87-88 switch work, but getting an 89 combo switch would be easiest.

I've had ASX's on my car for about a year now and they have been great. Driven in the snow and heavy rain without an issue. I'll buy them again.
